Teachers and students alike are enjoying the new 3D printer we have a school! Teachers are using the printer to create artifacts to share with their classes, like the Taung Child skull that Mrs. Bockhausen will be using during a unit in October. Design Tech students and Maker Club students will be the first to learn how to design objects to print, but the printer is available to any subject area that’s interested in using it. Come see the 3D printer in action at Parent/Teacher conferences on October 5 and 6, when the printer will be moved to the Cafe where parents can see it printing objects for classes.
